Every parent knows the heartbreak of a crying baby. You’ve tried everything, yet your little one still seems unsettled.
We’ve been there, too.As mothers, we lived through the long nights and the days when the crying seemed to carry on, when our babies struggled to settle and we wished we knew what would help. We felt it with our first babies, when everything was new — and again with the children who came after. Experience gave us perspective, but it didn’t make those moments easy.
Love doesn’t make you less tired.You can love your baby with everything you have and still feel exhausted, worried and unsure. You want to comfort the little person in your arms. You want to stay patient and present. And sometimes, you need a little support yourself. We wanted to create something that made room for both: the baby’s need for care and the parent’s need to feel supported.
Mothers first. Nurses, too.Our experience as registered nurses brought another perspective to what we knew as mothers. It led us to a question: could we recreate the familiar motion of a gentle hand massage, while helping parents see how their own baby responds? Not to replace a parent’s touch, but to support those caring moments when hands and energy need a little help.
Turning that question into movement.We teamed up with an engineer and inventor to recreate natural wrist movement and gentle finger massage in a wearable system. Literature review and consultation with pediatric experts helped shape the concept. Standard Gen 1 offers feedback during the session; Pro Gen 1 builds a more personal picture across recorded sessions.
Baby’s Calm OS grew from moments we knew as mothers.
